I’m trying to move in the agile coaching space from scrum master ,what are some certifications that you would need to get ? Right now I’m currently a scrum master and I have both the CSM and CSPO certifications currently ,Should I get the A-CSM and the SSM or the LeSS from a knowledge standpoint.

It’s worth saying that an Agile Coach and a Scrum Master are barely different, one is not senior to another and neither does ‘being one’ preclude you from doing the other.
Therefore I don’t think you need any certifications. The experience is all that counts.
Having said that, I found systems relationship coaching to really help my practice.
Is it cheating to ask a GM coach if a move is good before playing it?
Main Post:
Real question. I know we cant use engine online.
But it seems you can play with your coach next to you and being advised while playing.
Is it allowed or is it considered cheeting?
To me its like cheeting.
One could argue its just 2 or 3 games and its nothing in term of elo. It serves as educational purpose.
But then I could play 2 or 3 games with an engine help to get some ideas and educate myself too. Why not?
To be more precise I felt annoyed to see Daniel Naroditsky warn Moistcritikal and avoid him making several mistakes in several online games:

I love the coaching and all things we can learn but man if I was his opponent I would be pissed during those games.
I felt specially bad for his opponent at 15m in the video he has a clever trap and Daniel stops Moist from falling for it.
Also they laugh at him because he blenders a knight just after. Felt so strange to me.
Later at 22m Daniel give Moist the exact move order to check correctcly. It felt like an engine giving moves to follow. What do you think?
Couldnt Daniel review games AFTER they are played like we do with engines?
Is a GM direct coaching different than engine suggestion?

i watched this earlier and was confused why he was allowed to play rated games with daniel giving him advice, having a gm telling you if moves are good or bad is an outrageous advantage. casual games are a thing for a reason.
When to move on and how to find a coach?
Main Post:
My coach kind of went MIA and didn’t answer two emails I sent a few days apart before my trail marathon. Then no last minute encouragement or advice. I kept updating my plan leading up to the race and a race report right after. Silence. Just not how I want this relationship to go. I went into this a wonky knee and needed some support and guidance. It just doesn’t feel right to me. This was a referral from another coach. I asked who was full. If I was going to go out and find a coach that would be a better fit how would I even do that? Where to look. Also I’m a very average runner with a very average budget.

Have you learned enough from that coach to have a base of your own knowledge? You can always train yourself and “coach” yourself which costs no money.
Didn't Coach Red Pill move to Ukraine?

Thought I read something about this a little while back

Yes and it is fucking hilarious but I am disappointed. I wish I could have imagined an old boomer living out his Fight Club Operation Mayhem fantasies by shoving toothpicks in storage locks and jamming keyholes with gum but we got a helpless fat fuck cluelessly wandering around instead
So Coach Red Pill lives in Kharkiv which border Donbass and is a complete warzone right now. But CRP has fortunately gotten lucky because he was in Kiev to do paperwork when the invasion happened.
Due to trains and planes to Kharkiv being cancelled, he cannot go home so he will not be able to return for weeks and possible never. As it turns out, his family and kids are also in Kharkiv which is quite worrying. Given that his kids are 7 and 9, this situation has gone from being super funny to actually quite sad and concerning. However, he said that they are safe and away from danger so that is relieving.
So what is he doing? Well other than talking about Taiwan being next and other low IQ geopolitical takes, he is mostly blaming Biden for thing and doing soft pro-Russian propaganda. In his last livestream, I had to turn it off because it was the dumbest geopolitical reporting and conspiracies I have heard in some time, including JFK raping teenage girls.
But he is talking about how he can't go to Kharkiv even though he wants to, but he is making excuses which is fair enough, but I wish this guy would just admit he is scared, clueless, and has no choice but to seek safety.
Qualifications and experience to move from SM to Agile Coach
Main Post:
I am interested in becoming an Agile coach (mostly due to the paycheck to be honest) and I wonder what qualifications and experience as a minimum the community suggests one has in order to start applying for positions. Currently, I am working as a Scrum master/PO hybrid with a lot of project management experience. I only have PSM and then some older Agile and Project Management courses I did 10 years ago. I assume some experience in scaling agile and scrum would also be required?

I like to think about the change from sm to coach being similar to the jump from developer to architect. There are a lot of similarities, but the scope of knowledge is different.
When I hire a team coach, I expect they'll know more than just scrum, I expect they'll know Kanban and when and why to use it. They should be equipped to have a discussion with leaders about what metrics are good and which ones they should steer clear of. I expect them to have good working knowledge of at least one scaling framework, even if it's SAFe. I usually expect very good facilitation skills, I ask what method are used to facilitate specific meetings, how you would approach s certain type of meeting.
Most of all, I want them to have a curious approach, "this happened, what could have caused that?". What you see eat the surface is often not the thing that needs to be addressed.
I would recommend reading Lyssa Adkins' book, not because I think it teaches you how to be a coach, but because it teaches you how to be an amazing scrum master. An amazing scrum master is going to coach the team, PO, stakeholders, leaders and anyone else involved in the team when necessary.
